Sorry that I haven't posted in so long, but I've been busy getting out of school and doing Summer cleaning and planning. But, I will try to post every week about pretty much anything and everything. But today is just telling what I did on the last day of school. (June 15th)
We had a very awesome and emotional assembly in which we played Wii Just Dance and said goodbye to the 8th graders. Almost every single eighth grade girl was crying and hugging their teachers. They left 1/2 an hour early and I was almost brought to tears watching so many of my friends just walk out and move on o high school. Then our principals told the 7th graders to move over to the 8th grade section and the 6th graders to move over to the 7th grade section. They told everyone to walk slowly, but everyone ran. It was really exciting and emotional. So we survived our first year of middle school!

Congrats, G.G.! I have known middle schools that cover 7th thru 9th grades, but yours is the first I've heard about to cover 6th thru 8th. So, your graduation from elementary school was last year. I guess I forgot that. Now you're preparing for the day when you graduate to high school. At what point, if you know, do you get to choose whether you want to prepare for a college education, or to follow a different path for another type of work?

Oooh, I'm excited about summer blogging! And Just Dance is super fun! I've only played it once, and I was pregnant. But it was still great. ha ha
