Stand Together

Stand Togther is an organiation created by a single mother in Michigan of 4 children, one who committed suicide at 11 years old because of bullying at his school. Sirdeaner Walker, the mother was in so much pain because of her loss, she didn't know what to do. She thought she'd be depressed and sad for the rest of her life. Extreme Makeover, a show created to help families in need have a better and safer community, life and home. They sent the family to Hollywood for a week to spend time with celebrities, while they brought hundreds of construction workers or just neighbors, to build a new house for the the Walker family. Extreme Makeover also helped promote the organiation, "Stand Togther". Every minute, at least one person joins the fight against bullying. To actually sign up for the organization, you must be 13 years old, but to fight bullying, you can be 1 day old. It does not matter if you sign up or not, all that matters is that you make a little change in the World by preventing one person from being bullied. All you have to do is sign up. Show the world who you are and what you can do. We need a change and we can't do it without you.

Also, if you are a student of a K-12 school, tell your teachers and friends (13 or above) about the website, so they can make a difference. If you are an ASB member at school, try to make a new project based on this program. Thanks!!!!
